The insulation crosslinked polyethylene of cable uses chemical and physical methods to convert the polyethylene with linear molecular structure into crosslinked polyethylene with three-dimensional network structure, so as to greatly improve the thermomechanical properties of polyethylene and maintain excellent electrical properties.

1、 Different voltage
BVV copper core PVC insulated PVC sheathed connecting cable voltage grade 300 / 500V. YJV XLPE insulated PVC sheathed power cable, with voltage grades of low voltage 0.6/1kv, medium voltage 6 / 10kV, high voltage 26 / 35kV, etc.
2、 Different structure
BVV sheathed wire is a common cable in weak current system. The structure is composed of two or more bv wires plus sheath layer. Single core is circular wire and double core is flat wire; The internal cores include 2 cores, 3 cores, 4 cores, 5 cores, 3 + 1 cores, 3 + 2 cores, 6 cores, 7 ~ 24 cores and other specifications. The basic structure of YJV cross-linked cable consists of conductor, insulation and sheath. Under special requirements, shielding layer and armor layer can be added. The internal core of YJV is only single core, 2 core, 3 core, 4 core, 5 core, 4 + 1 core, 3 + 2 core and 3 + 1 core.
3、 Different characteristics
BVV belongs to the type of home decoration wire, which is represented by the letter “B”. It has the characteristics of acid-base resistance, oil resistance, moisture resistance and mildew resistance. The long-term allowable working temperature cannot exceed 65 ℃, and the national standard BVV shall have CCC certification mark.
YJV is a kind of power cable. The long-term allowable working temperature of ordinary cable shall not exceed 70 ℃, and that of cross-linked cable shall not exceed 90 ℃. It has good electrical performance. Multi core cable adopts compact flat design, which has the characteristics of stable structure, light weight and small outer diameter. In order to ensure the safety and reliability of YJV cable, the manufacturer can provide inspection report.
4、 Different uses
BVV cable is suitable for power line installation of electrical appliances with rated power frequency voltage of 300 / 500V and below. It is often used for laying exposed wires, such as household appliances, lighting lines, electrical equipment, etc. YJV cable is suitable for fixed laying in distribution networks or industrial devices with power frequency rated voltage of 0.6/1kv and above, such as urban power grid, mines and large factories.
There is no strict division according to the voltage, but according to the generally recognized statement in the industry. According to the applied voltage, YJV cables can be divided into
1kV and below are low-voltage cables;
1kV ~ 10kV are medium voltage cables;
10kV ~ 35kV is high voltage cable;
35 ~ 220kV is UHV cable.
